Assemblywoman Woerner’s legislation can best be described as pragmatic policy solutions to problems and concerns that are a priority to the people and municipalities of the 113th Assembly District.

Constituents reach out to Carrie because they know that she and her staff are responsive and get things done on their behalf.

Every candidate for office says “I will work across the aisle to get things done.” But how many of them, when they get into office can actually demonstrate that they work in a bipartisan manner? Assemblywoman Woerner has a record of working with partners in both parties to get things done for her consituents.

Assemblywoman Woerner serves on the Assembly’s Agriculture Committee, and is the Chair of the subcommittee on Agriculture Production and Technology. She also participated in the Joint Budget Conference Committee on Agriculture.

Throughout her first term, Assemblywoman Woerner has advocated for our schools to receive their fair share of state funding, including full restoration of the Gap Elimination Adjustment (GEA) funds and increases in Foundation Aid. She has advocated for common sense changes to Common Core curriculum and to the assessment approach.
