One of the principal responsibilities of an elected official is to help citizens connect with and successfully navigate the functions of New York State government.  Whether it is getting an expedited approval by a regulatory agency so that a small business can launch a new product line, or helping a caregiver secure the resources she needs for her son with ALS, Carrie and her staff prioritize the work they do on behalf of constituents who reach out to her for help.

Constituents connect with Carrie at Open Office hours that she hosts monthly in both Fort Edward and Saratoga Springs.  Since taking office, Carrie has hosted 14 Town Hall Meetings at various locations throughout the District, providing constituents with an opportunity to get an update on what is happening in the Legislature and to weigh in on policy questions.  An active user of social media, constituents know that they can reach out to Carrie through social media, email, and phone to share their concerns with her.
